MARK OF WILLIAM BATEMAN I, LONDON, 1817
The urn-shaped cup on pedestal foot, the foot chased with foliate decoration, the stem fluted, the lower body applied with leaf and flower stem decoration, each side with applied laurel wreath around a vacant cartouche, below an applied foliate scroll frieze on textured ground, with two entwined vine handles, the cover chased with three various foliate friezes and with pineapple finial, marked on body, under cover and near finial, also with accession number 26.260.61A
