The nephrite panels set en cage in gold, the corners of the cover and the thumbpiece set with cabochon sapphires and diamonds in platinum mounts, in original fitted leather case, the silk satin interior stamped in gilt ‘Cartier 653 Fifth Avenue PARIS 13 Rue de la Paix LONDON 175 New Bond Street,’ also stamped ‘CARTIER’ under base of case; the inside front edge of casket engraved with signature: ‘Cartier, Paris, Londres, New York’ and with stamped inventory number ‘3650’
