Tasting note: Re-corked at the château. This quite soft, beguiling wine always seemed to have more Merlot than it actually did. This was just the way the Cabernets expressed themselves in this very hot year. Quite a gentle soft style for Poyferr, all smoothness and elegance. Absolutely ready now. BB
