QIANLONG FOUR-CHARACTER INCISED SEAL MARK AND OF THE PERIOD (1736-1795)
The dish is supported on four low ruyi-form feet each carved with a taotie mask. The interior is further carved in low relief with a band of alternating archaistic dragon and phoenix scroll panels on a finely incised leiwen ground. The flattened rim is similarly embellished with a leiwen band. The stone is of a moss-green tone with darker speckled inclusions.
