AN AGATE 'CATFISH' PENDANT AND THREE SMALL AGATE CARVINGS

The pendant is carved in the form of a lotus leaf, the dark brown skin carved with a pair of catfish, a seedpod and with an auspicious phrase niannian youyu, that may be translated as 'abundance year after year'. The three small carvings comprise a lotus flower, a double-gourd and two peaches.
