The rectangular top is decorated with a central panel enclosing a pagoda within a river landscape scene, flanked by two foliate panels enclosing peony and chrysanthemum and birds, reserved on a diaper ground. The waisted openwork scrolling apron and square-section legs are decorated with scrolling lotus.

A distinguished private European collection, acquired between 1956-1959.
