THREE BRONZE CENSERS
17TH-18TH CENTURY
The cylindrical censer is cast with a central horizontal rib and applied with a pair of lion-mask and ring handles. The compressed tripod censer has a bronze tripod leaf-shaped stand. The two-handled censer is incised with archaistic stylised masks on a keyfret ground. The first two are cast with an apocryphal Xuande six-character mark in a recessed rectangular panel and the third one with a four-character mark.
The largest 5 ¾ in. (14.5 cm.) diam.
