A LARGE CORAL-GROUND FAMILLE ROSE BOTTLE VASE
19TH CENTURY
The vase is decorated to the baluster body and cylindrical neck with lotus heads, shou characters, Buddhist symbols, pomegranates and bats, divided by a band of ruyi-heads and endless knots suspending jewels on the shoulder. The foot is decorated with a double lappet band. The base has an apocryphal six-character Hongwu seal mark.
