A PALE CELADON JADE 'DRAGON' VASE
19TH CENTURY
The vase is intricately carved and pierced to depict a large slender dragon and its young clambering upon a vase with animal-head handles and loose rings. The scales and back bone of the beast are finely rendered. The stone is of a pale even tone.
9 5/8 in. (24.5 cm.) high, wood stand
