TWO MOTTLED JADE CEREMONIAL BLADES
MING DYNASTY OR EARLIER
One blade is thinly carved with a pointed tip and small pierced aperture, the stone of a dark green tone with some lighter brownish speckled inclusions. The other blade is of axe-head form, pierced with two holes, the stone is of a spinach green tone with blackish mottled inclusions.
The largest, 7 ¾ in. (19.7 cm.) long
