A MUGHAL-STYLE WHITE JADE OVAL PLAQUE INSET WITH A MIRROR
18TH-19TH CENTURY
The plaque is carved with large blossoming flowers encircled by a continuous floral scroll and stylised rope twist border. One side is carved with an openwork flower handle inset with a red hardstone, opposite a small bud-form knop. The mirror is inset to the reverse, surrounded by gilt-metal inset with small hardstones.
