A GUAN-TYPE LINGZHI BRUSH WASHER, XI
18TH CENTURY
The brush washer is well modelled in the shape of a lingzhi fungus group, with the main twin-fungus forming the washer. The underside is modelled with further lingzhi. With the exception of several spur marks on the underside, the vessel is covered overall in a lustrous glaze of pale bluish tone suffused with crackle.
