A BRONZE SQUARE-SECTION TWIN-HANDLED VASE, HU
HAN DYNASTY (3RD CENTURY BC- 3RD CENTURY AD)
The bulbous body of the square-form vase is decorated with a pair of animal-mask handles with loose rings, supported on a tall spreading foot. The bronze has a mottled patina.
14 in. (35.6 cm.) high

The Hurukawa Collection, before 11 April 1969.
With Seikodo, Tokyo, Japan, before June 1982.
