A SMALL YELLOW AND RUSSET JADE MODEL OF A HORSE

The horse is in supine position, carved with its four legs held close to its body and the long tail between the legs. The mane has intricately incised detailing. The stone is of a yellowish-celadon colour, with attractive honey-tone russet inclusions.
