JIAQING FOUR-CHARACTER SEAL MARK IN IRON-RED AND OF THE PERIOD (1796-1820)
The exterior of the bowl is colourfully decorated with two green five-clawed dragons chasing flaming pearls, above eight clusters of floral sprays. The vessel is moulded in the shape of an open lotus flower with eight petals, with the foliate mouth rim highlighted in gilt. The interior is enamelled in turquoise, with further floral sprays to the centre.
