TWO DEHUAFIGURAL GROUPS
CIRCA 1900
Each group is finely modelled with a figure of Guanyin wearing loose robes and elaborate jewellery and holding a ruyi sceptre. The figure is seated on a raised rockwork base beside an attendant standing on a lotus petal amongst crashing waves, below a small platform with a tied scroll and a vase on top.
The largest, 14 5/8 in. (37.1 cm.) high
Provenance
From a large collection of dehua porcelain. Acquired from the collection of P. J. Donnelly in the 1980's, thence by descent within the family.
