Lot Essay

See a pair of bowls in the Tianminlou Collection, decorated with the same design but bearing a Yongzheng mark within double squares instead of circles, illustrated in Chinese Porcelain, The S.C. Ko Tianminlou Collection, Hong Kong, 1987, no. 100. Also compare this vessel to a very similar bowl sold at Christie's Hong Kong, 28 May 2014, lot 3459.
