A GUAN-TYPE FACETED VASE, HU
TONGZHI SIX-CHARACTER MARKS IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD (1862-1874)
The vase is decorated in low relief on the two broad sides with a peach-shaped panel and has a pair of rectangular lug handles on the narrow sides. It is covered overall with a crackle-suffused glaze of pale aqua colour, suffused with a wide network of dark grey and clear crackles.
