A WHITE JADE AND HARDWOOD RUYI SCEPTRE
19TH CENTURY
The sceptre is of typical curved form inset with three white jade plaques. The largest plaque is carved with a caparisoned elephant, the central plaque has a double vase with da ji characters and the smallest plaque has double fish beside a swastika (wan) symbol.
