The service in three variations, one painted with exotic bird vignettes, comprising: two large two-handled ice-pails and covers, four shell-shaped dishes, six dessert-plates and six bowls; another part-dessert service painted with landscape vignettes, comprising: four lozenge-shaped dishes, six dessert-plates, six bowls, together with two small two-handled ice-pails painted with shells
The larger ice-pails: 13 in. (33 cm.) high

Almost certainly supplied to David Stewart Ker (1816-1878), for Montalto, Co. Down, thence by descent to the present owner.
