Château Cos d'Estournel 1970
Saint-Estéphe, 2ème cru classé
In original wooden case. Slightly worn capsules. Good appearance. Levels: eleven base of neck, one top-shoulder
Tasting note: Bruno Prats’ first vintage at Cos. A mass of notes, all good, though tannin very much in evidence. Most recently, an imperiale, rich fairly complex, nice weight, drinking well and ‘as good as it will ever be’. Last tasted Oct 2000 ****. M.B.
