Each of cartouche form, the moulded frame carved with strapwork and C- and S-scrolled cresting adorned with fruit, probably formerly with a candlebranch, one with a red label inscribed in ink 'Arthur Bryant, Smedmore House, Wareham'

Sir Arthur Bryant (1899-1985) was an English historian and columnist for the Illustrated London News. He rented Smedmore House, Wareham as a retreat between 1947 and 1956.
