CASE: decorated overall with gilt chinoiserie ornament, DIAL: the arched 7 inch dial with silvered chapter ring, the matted centre with mock pendulum and calendar aperture and plaque signed Ralph Tolson / London, the arch with strike/silent ring, MOVEMENT: the five pillar movement with twin fusees and verge escapement, pull quarter repeat on six bells with hour strike on further bell, the backplate profusely engraved, bottom edge of plates stamped 33
