The superstructure with brass and rosewood gallery above seven drawers with satinwood linings, over a gilt-tooled leather writing surface and three frieze drawers with conforming linings, the right drawer partially fitted, flanked by two leather-lined slides, the whole inlaid with scrolling foliage and anthemions, the back and sides finished as the front, on lotus and anthemion-carved lion legs
