Squat tapering form, on stepped spreading foot, the sides decorated with arched panels depicting birds and animals amongst foliate scrolls on alternate powder blue and turquoise grounds, within stylized flower and foliate borders on black ground, within geometric bands, the hinged and partly domed cover with rosettes, floral swags and scrolls between drop motif borders, with a geometric finial, the elaborate scroll handle with pierced scroll thumb-piece
