ATTRIBUTED TO GEBRÜDER FRIEDLÄNDER, BERLIN, LATE 19TH CENTURY
Rectangular with rounded corners, the hinged cover enamelled in translucent pearl white over a wavy guilloché ground, centred with a watercolour on ivory miniature of King Ferdinand I (1861-1948), signed ‘E. Asper. Berlin’, within diamond-set surround surmounted by a guilloché enamelled crown set with rose-cut diamonds, the outer border set with diamonds, emeralds and rubies within two diamond-set borders, the sides of the hinged cover applied with ribbon-tied laurel-chased border decorated with rose gold rosettes, the fluted base of burnished yellow gold, with the rose gold interior, apparently unmarked

VAT is also payable (at 20%) on the buyer’s Premium on a VAT inclusive basis.
