Lot Essay

The battleship Emperor Nicholas I was built in the late 1880s. It surrendered to the Japanese fleet in 1905.
The Standart was the main Imperial Yacht serving Emperor Nicholas II and his family until 1917.
The Battleship Slava served in the Baltic Sea during World War I, and was the largest ship of the Russian Gulf of Riga Squadron that fought the German High Seas Fleet in the Battle of the Gulf of Riga in August 1915. It repeatedly bombarded German positions and troops for the rest of 1915 and during 1916.
The Kubanets was a gunboat which served in the Black sea.
