ZHENGDE SIX-CHARACTER MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE WITHIN A DOUBLE CIRCLE AND OF THE PERIOD (1506-1521)
The bowl is finely potted with thin steep sides and a flared rim, resting on a slightly tapering foot. It is covered inside and out with a translucent egg-yolk yellow enamel. The base is covered with a transparent glaze of bluish tinge.
