For an illustration of this model together with her gallant companion see Christoph Fritzsche, Gregor Karl Stasch and Ernst Kramer, Hochfürstlich Fuldische Porzellainmanufaktur 1764-1798, Exhibition Catalogue, Fulda, 1994, p. 94, no. 59. A Fulda figure from the Meinertzhagen Collection, of the same model as the present lot but holding a miniature in her left hand, was sold (together with her gentleman companion) in these Rooms on 3 March 1986, lot 39.
