Cross-banded and feather-banded and with original metalware, the top with lattice inlay within a scrolling cartouche design and centred with interlaced initials F P, with two short and three long drawers, on bun feet, the bottom drawer with label '' ...chest of drawers was a present to my mother from her uncle Mr. Henry Davies who died in 1737 before my mother had completed her tenth year D.G ''
