With fielded panels, the arched hood with ball finials, two further finials at the foot-end, on later rockers
29 ½ in. (75 cm.) high; 36 in. (92 cm.) long; 18 in. (46 cm.) wide
Provenance
Purchased in 1861 at the sale of the contents of Haworth Parsonage by Mr. Benjamin Binns, the brother-in-law of Martha Brown who was Reverend Patrick Bronte's housekeeper. Purchased at a sale of the personal effects of Mr. Benjamin Binns in Saltaire, Near Keighley and thence by descent. Purchased by Huntington Antiques and sold in April 1982 to Alan Ball Esq By descent to Michael Ball Esq. OBE
