3 volumes, 8° (248 x 154 mm). Photogravure portrait of the author in vol. II, 300 numbered plates, in three series of 1-100 (nos. 54/55 82/83 in vol. II and 9/10 & 68/69 in vol. III are each double-page), all lithographs, some colored or partly colored, by H. and F. Bolus; F. Bolus edited the third volume which has a preface by Harriet Margaret Louisa Bolus née Kensit, and a corrigenda slip. Original green. Provenance: F.M.
