(89.5 cm.) browned twist octagonal to round barrel, scroll engraved case-hardened patent breech, tang and lock, walnut half-stock, mounts including shaped blued trigger-guard, and retaining nearly all its original finish, Liège proof; the second with earlier 39 ½ in. (100.5 cm.) barrel, engraved patent breech, tang, stepped locks and mounts, and figured walnut half-stock, in recent wooden case
