With 45 ½ in. (115.5 cm.) rebrowned twist black powder reproved (Imperial) barrel, action with carved percussion fence, rebounding back-action lock, border and scroll engraved throughout including the breech-end of the barrel, 13 5/8 in. pistolgrip stock, and green horn fore-end cap, weight 14 lbs. 9 1/8 oz.
Provenance
The makers have kindly confirmed that this gun was completed in 1880 for a Mr. Garfit.
