A RARE 8-BORE DOUBLE-BARRELLED GRADE 'FHT80' BOXLOCK EJECTOR
W.W. GREENER, 29 PALL MALL, LONDON, S.W., WORKS ST. MARY'S SQUARE, BIRMINGHAM, SERIAL NO. 67885 FOR 1926
With 34 in. (86.4 cm.) reblacked nitro barrels, treble grip action retaining traces of original case-hardened finish and engraved with scroll work and waterfowl, side safety, and figured 13 ¾ in. stock including rubber butt-pad, weight 12 lbs. 3 oz.
Provenance
The makers have kindly confirmed that this Treble Wedge Fast model gun was ordered by their London House, was started on 5 November 1925 and completed on 14 January 1926. It was choked full and extra full and engraved with ducks and geese by Saunders.
