(81.3 cm.) twist black powder only barrels, action with carved fences, rebounding floating back-action locks, best quality scroll engraving throughout, retaining much original case-hardened finish throughout, figured 14 ¼ in. stock, and gold escutcheon, weight 10 lbs. 13 3/8 oz., in maker's lightweight lined and fitted case, with accessories including turnscrews, measures and a horn striker pot

Provenance
The makers have kindly confirmed that this hammergun was completed with 32 inch barrels in 1874 for a Mr. Hayden.
