With browned 28 in. (71 cm.) twist black powder only barrels sighted to 200 yards, case-hardened action with doll's head extension and marked 'HENRY'S PATENT NO. 120', manual safety, case-hardened back-action locks, figured 14 ¼ in. pistolgrip stock including rubber recoil pad, border and scroll engraved throughout, and retaining much original finish throughout, weight 10 lbs. 15 3/8 oz., in original makers brass-cornered oak and leather case, the lid with red leather Henry trade label with gilt lettering and printed Manton & Co. trade label

The makers have kindly confirmed that this best quality rifle was completed on 12 May 1887 for Manton & Co.
