A CASED PAIR OF 12-BORE SELF-OPENING SIDELOCK EJECTORS

With blacked 29 in. (73.6 cm.) nitro chopperlump barrels, 2 ½ in. (65 mm) chambers, No. 1 bored approx. cyl. and ½ choke, No. 2 bored approx. ½ and ¾ choke, treble-grip action with removable striker-discs, best quality bouquet and scroll engraving throughout, No. 1 retaining traces of original case-hardened finish, No. 2 retaining much original case-hardened finish throughout, well figured 14 ½ in. stocks including figured walnut extensions, and silver inlaid initials to the underside of each butt. weight 6 lbs. 12 ¾ oz., in original maker's brass-cornered oak and leather case with some accessories
Provenance
The maker's have kindly confirmed that this pair of guns were completed in 1912 for a Mr. Bassuet, the vendor's grandfather.
