With 6 ½ in. (16.5 cm.) barrel, address without patent dates, the barrel, cylinder and frame retaining virtually all their original blued finish, case-hardened hammer and trigger-guard, and factory mother-of-pearl grips each with inset 'S&W' monogram

Lot Essay
Although not completed and shipped until circa 1910, it is accepted that the frames for this series of revolvers were manufactured by 1898 classing it as an antique firearm under U.S. regulations.
