The first with two-stage 3.3./4 in. (9.5 cm.) barrel, engraved breech and action, swelling figured walnut butt with silver-wire inlay, and silver grotesque mask butt-cap, London proof marks and foreigner's mark; the second with 5 in. (12.7 cm.) turn-off barrel with spring-bayonet fitted beneath, and engraved trigger-guard acting as the bayonet-release catch, London proof marks
