(33 cm.) two-stage barrel, border engraved flat lock with safety-catch, incised cock-spring and cock, ebonised full stock stippled to simulate natural staghorn with white staghorn plaques engraved with scrollwork, foliage and stylised portrait-busts, the ball-pommel with inset white staghorn roundel engraved with the arms of Saxony and the Archmarshallship of the Holy Roman Empire, iron trigger-guard, and original wooden ramrod with engraved white staghorn tip, the barrel and lock each with maker's mark 'GO' (Neue Støckel 2687)
