The brooch designed as an oval plaque set with a red foiled gem, foiled ruby and old and rose-cut diamond raised cluster on a scroll and beadwork ground, to a similarly-set black enamel surround and alternating diamond and pearl frame, suspending a detachable fringe of five diamond and pearl-set drops with red foiled gem and enamel quatrefoil centres and enamel terminals with shorter diamond and enamel drops between, brooch fitting and fringe detachable, full length including fringe 10.5cm, one drop partially deficient; the bracelet composed of seven rectangular plaques with a red foiled gem centre within a black enamel scroll design surround accented with rose-cut diamonds, 18.2cm, with fitting to attach brooch plaque to centre, French marks
