Portrait of a Young Girl in a Red Dress

According to previous owner Josephine Dawes, the sitter is Anna Graves Coppuck (1824-1859) of Mt. Holly, New Jersey and is buried there in St. Andrews graveyard. She was the daughter of Joseph Cooper Coppuck (1800-1864) and Mary McNeran Graves.
