SECOND HALF 19TH CENTURY
One of a classically draped woman holding a fish in her left hand, the other of a youth wearing a lion pelt and a fish held aloft to his right hand, both on circular bases, each stamped 'John Matthews, Royal Pottery, Weston-Super-Mare', damages and restorations, traces of paint, on a pair of associated terracotta plinths, with foliate panelled sides
Woman: 60½in. (154cm.) high; Youth: 56¼in. (143cm.) high; Plinths: 19¾in. (50cm.) high
