Not in original case. Congé capsules. One slightly damaged label. Levels: two base of neck, four top-shoulder
Tasting note: A lovely wine. For me a perfect Cos, even from the start: one could spot its elegance in cask, and fruit, and of course, youthful spiciness. At five years of age still a rich ruby; sweet, harmonious nose; perfect balance and harmony – with these qualities one can’t go wrong. My eleventh note made at Kaplan’s ‘85s dinner at the Four Seasons: still youthful looking; touch of iodine on nose but rich, ripe and lovely. Fleshy, complete, delicious….Last tasted Oct 2000 ***** This is what claret is all about. M.B.
