The Montblanc Semiramis fountain pen was made in a limited edition of 4810 pens, to honor Queen Semiramis of Babylon. According to various legends, she was responsible for uniting Babylon and Assyria, as well as ordering the building of several palaces and monuments including the Gate of Ishtar and the Hanging Gardens of Babylon.
