To commemorate the formation of the Royal Navy Clearance Branch over 60 years ago, and to celebrate the numerous operations that the Branch has conducted, both at home and overseas, Rolex agreed to produce a limited series of only 50 “Royal Navy Clearance Diver Special Edition” Sea Dweller Deepsea Watches. To reflect the heart of the operational community, the case back features a haut relief representation of the Royal Navy Clearance Divers crest.
Considered part of the most dangerous underwater jobs, the British Navy is one of only three in the world to employ these highly trained individuals whose jobs are to clear sea-lanes in order to allow landing crafts to approach enemy beaches safely.
