A FAMILLE ROSE AND GILT-DECORATED PORCELAIN SNUFF BOTTLE
IMPERIAL, JINGDEZHEN KILNS, DAOGUANG FOUR-CHARACTER MARK IN IRON RED AND OF THE PERIOD (1821-1850)
The bottle is decorated on one side with an elephant with turned head, its back draped with a blanket beneath a gu-shaped vase, the reverse with a grass-filled jardinière raised on a stand beside a rock and asters.
2 3/8 in. (5.7 cm.) high, glass stopper
