THREE PORCELAIN SNUFF BOTTLES
JINGDEZHEN KILNS, 1820-1880
The first bottle, 1830-1880, is decorated with seven multi-colored five-clawed dragons pursuing pearls on an incised ground of white clouds, and the base with an iron-red dragon clutching a gold pearl. The second bottle, 1820-1870, is decorated with incised flowers between underglaze blue bands of the Eight Buddhist Emblems (bajixiang). The third bottle, Daoguang four-character mark in iron red and of the period (1821-1850), is decorated with a scene of figures on horseback in iron-red on a black ground.
2 ¾, 2 and 1 5/8 in. (7, 5.1 and 6.6 cm.) high, glass and agate stoppers
