TWO QUARTZITE SNUFF BOTTLES
1750-1880
The first, gourd-form bottle, 1760-1880, of beige tone and is carved in high relief with a darker leafy branch at the side. The second, pebble-form bottle, Rustic Crystal Master School, 1750-1860, is delicately carved on one side with a budding branch and gradually darkens to a pinkish-tone from top to bottom. The base is carved with a seal.
2 in. (5 cm.) and 1 7/8 in. (4.7 cm.) high, glass and stone stoppers
